Our reading guides are a careful selection of Chinese vocabulary words and expressions listed in order of appearance from the Chinese version of universally well-known works. They are here to support you in your reading comprehension and vocabulary acquisition.
Review the vocabulary word lists before reading the Chinese text to assess its level of difficulty or simply to learn more words from literary works. Each list comes with the Chinese characters, their pinyin and translation in English.
Note that many of the reading guides refer to titles available as FREE reading practice excerpts in our Chinese Reading section, including excerpts from the Chinese version of the Harry Potter series.
